The show is titled "Rough Around the Egdes", opening May 1, 2009 at Gallery 141 in Lancaster.
Most pieces were done on wood panel or wooden stars with a mixture of pencil drawing and acrylic painting. I worked with acrylic because it dries fast and I was doing the whole show at ONE time....working on one piece, then switching up to work on another when I was tired of the other. The show took one month to create. I like working with wood because there is an element of NATURAL when you can see the bare wood showing through, exposed and unpainted.
